Girlguiding Birmingham held its County Centenary Camp at Blackwell over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend - we had almost 500 camped for 5 days and on Bank Holiday Monday we were joined by another 600 for our 'Party in the Park' celebration. From start to finish the Blackwell staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, every request, no matter how small or trivial, was dealt with quickly and professionally ! Special thank you to Sean, who was awesome !!
The activities were excellent and instructors, professional, knowledgeable and supportive to the inexperienced guides.
The Site is excellent and I fantastic facilities, I would recommend this to anyone !!
Well done on the addition of the General Camp Freezer, this is a superb idea

This was our second Group Family Camp of about 100 people. We booked for 2010 before we left. We have used other sites but Blackwell beats the rest hands down. Paul (manager) and his crew could not be more friendly or helpful. The site is in excellent order and each year more activities are added. They really do listen to any comments you make. I made a chance remark to Paul late on Saturday evening about maybe thinking of installing a paper towel dispenser in one of the smaller ladies toilet and then promptly forgot about it. By 10am Sunday morning there was one fitted, with an apology for it not being brand new!!!

This camp site offers a very good range of activities which means that you can come back without repeating activities.  The staff are very friendly and very accommodating.  We are already planning out next visit for next year.

We had a superb week with Blackwell. We actually camped on the second site called 'Pikes Pool' which is about a 10 minute walk from the first site, though slightly less developed and much closer to the Green field style camping my scouts love (without digging toilets) It has a brand new toilet block, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
Paul and his team really looked after us, and went out of the way to ensure we had everything we needed.
Just the sort of Scouting centre that we love to visit with all the trimmings. Thanks guys, and we'll see you next year!

We have camped as a Group for the last five years at various scout sites throughout the North of England and none can compare with Blackwell, it is an excellent site, facilities are very good and the staff are excellent. It is the small extra things that the staff do without being asked that make it so special. The range of activities is brilliant and cubs and scouts could do separate activities without any overlap and our Cubs could therefore see what more exciting activities would be available to them as Scouts.
Many many thanks to everyone there for a great week.

Wow, what can I say about Blackwell Adventure. From the website, to the booking to the camp itself. We Had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning.
The Facilities were second to none, in fact best campsite I've ever been to. We loved the outdoor heated swimming pool, and 3G swing. The Campsite manager, could not do enough for us. The activity staff were great with the scouts, The girls in the office made booking the camp very easy and were very helpful and friendly to deal with.
The shop on site was very well stocked(souvenirs, drinks sweets etc..) and scouts loved it. Blackwell is very close to Barnt Green, which has a local chip shop, Chinese, Tesco etc... which was great for forgotten camping food.
We/scouts cant wait to go back to Blackwell, infact I'm going to arrange another camp now.

Despite it being a wet week for us we had a fab time. We used the stable block this year (good move considering the weather) but we have also camped for the 2 years previous. The site staff are always helpful, professional and have a good rapport with the children. The activities are fun, challenging and well organised.

Excellent, well accommodated site, with all facilities you would need; shop & warm showers are a bonus. All the staff are very friendly, encouraging and helpful. More than enough activities to keep small groups entertained and to tire them out. We will definitely be back again.
Thanks Blackwell for making it a camp to remember.

An excellent campsite with a great range of activities and very helpful staff. they should change their website as it doesn't come across as welcoming as the site actually is. Great help also on booking and pre camp planning. will definitely be returning. thanks to all

Blackwell Court is just round the corner from Birmingham and very close to motorway networks for people travelling from far a field. It is a beautiful 50 acre site with greenery all around it and a lovely view of Cotswold.
The atmosphere is calm and peaceful. The staff team and volunteers working on site are very friendly and pleasant. the site is very well maintained and all credit to users who make little mess but total credit to all staff and volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure a welcoming stay awaits all users and visitors throughout the year.
A wide variety of activities are on offer including outdoor swimming and open fire/ outdoor cooking, which are my groups speciality. City dwellers, especially children and young people find such things fascinating as these are totally alien to them. The new tent village facilities are superb but I still prefer the traditional tent setting and sleeping bags
