Our Summer Camp at Blackwell Adventure was brilliant, a week of fun and excitement. The facilities are fantastic and the staff are friendly and accommodating. This was the first time we have stayed at Blackwell and will not be our last!! Recommended to everyone |

Our 2nd visit to Blackwell Adventure (first in 2003) and pleased to report site is even better than before. Office staff made booking activities (and providing written confirmation) so easy. Site staff concentrate on the leaders as much as the kids and couldn't have done more to make it easy for us to run our camp - regular rubbish collections from our own site, phone charging facilities, cold block freezing facilities and helped us get Halal meat for one of our Scouts. New activities a real draw for the Scouts - they loved the Zip Wire and 3G swing. Toilets a bit of a walk from some sites but very clean at all times |

From the inital phone call to the final farewell the staff at Blackwell adventure could not have been more helpful or friendly. From giving advice about the best way to organise our activities to helping us load and unload all our equipment. There was a large range of activities and the most frequent complaint from the girls was "Why can't we do that activity?" as they walked passed on the way to other activities. Whether participating in an instructor led activity or a free self led activity the support and help from the staff was equally good. All the girls (and leaders) were challenged and able to work at their own level. Three things that really helped our stay were the staff driven trailers that helped move our equipment, the tesco delivery that was delivered to out campsite and the use of the communal freezer to freeze ice blocks and keep frozen food in. The only difficulty we had all week was that the girls found it very hard to saw through the large pieces of wood from the wood pile. We had a really enjoyable and positive camp
and I am sure that it will not be long until we return. |

From the minute we stepped off the coach we were welcomed with a Scout handshake. With staff eager to please and help move ourkit to the tented village. Nothing was ever a bother to any of the staff that we had pleasure in dealing with. The tented village is an excellent idea, with close proximity to the hub of the centre, near clean toilets with suitably lit paths to and from. The activities available were excellent and of good variety, either run by staff of self supervised. Only a slight draw back was the cooking and food storage facilities in the kitchen area. If a larger fridge and an oven could be added this would improve an already good fcility. We had a great time and would certainly be returning in the future and will recommed it to other groups. Thansk goes to all the staff who made our stay enjoyable |

Pre-camp contact was very good with activity booking and number
changes managed really well. On site, the staff were excellent with
a warm welcome and really good activity staff to encourage and run
events. Toilets and showers were a strong plus. This is our third
visit to the site since 2005 and we are already looking to attend
Brumjam there next year. |

Our first visit to Blackwell and all our Scouts had an amazing time.
Very well organised and prepared site, the staff were friendly and
always around and ready to help whatever was needed! The overall
experience of the site was excellent and I would recommend anyone
looking for a site goes and pays it a visit! |

We have camped at Blackwell for many years
and keep going back.
There are always plenty of things to do and new activities to try.
Some areas are looking a little tired, particularly the
toilet blocks, but they are still kept very clean.
Credit to the staff who do that job! We have already booked for next year and hopefully will do so for more after that. |

I've been taking cubs to Blackwell for 17 years, during these years
activities have just got better, the staff are friendly and
professional. I personaly
feel this is an ideal site for cubs. Each year we do different
activities and there have been new ones to chose from.
I would recommend this site to anyone, who wants a good time
and thier young people to have fun. |

Every time we stay at Blackwell the experience is fantastic - from
booking through to using the facilities we cannot fault. We stayed
in the tented village and would recommend it to everyone -
especially as you dont have to deal with wet tents if the weather is
typically English!! |

We have camped at both Blackwell Adventure & pikes Pool before, and
have always been made very welcome. The facilities are second to
none at Blackwell Adventure. The Pikes Pool site was ideal for our
back to basics camp with wooded areas for shelterbuilding etc |

Excellent service from all members of the Blackwell Team.
Full support upon arrival, throughout the weekend and again
at departure. No task was too
small, each member of the Unit was valued and the girls treated with
respect. An excellent weekend, would thoroughly recommend the site,
especially the Tented Village |

As a local group we have been using Blackwell for years. However over the last few years the activities have been expanded and improved and there are now a wide range of exciting challenges for our cubs. The zip wires are very popular as are the high wire activities. There is also plenty of space for the cubs to run around or play wide games.Once again the cubs returned home worn out but very happy despite some awful weather. The staff at Blackwell are always very
helpful, friendly and very safety conscious. I would not hesitate to
recommend Blackwell to any group seeking either an activity holiday
or a campsite to do your own thing. |

This was our second "camp" at Blackwell - this time it was a Leaders weekend staying in the Manor House. We had an excellent weekend, helped of course by the fantastic weather but yet again the Blackwell staff were superb - always going that extra mile for us with nothing too much trouble. By far the friendliest and most helpful site we've stayed on and excellent activities, facilities and views too! You feel like you're staying in a country park rather than a scout camp! Well done Blackwell and thanks again. |

We have just returned from a weekend at
Blackwell court in Bromsgrove. We stayed in the Brooks Tented village and have to commend the Facilities on offer. It was fantastic to turn up for a short camp with all gear set up, freeing up the leaders to spend enjoyable time with the children on activities. Also high praise for the pleasant and helpful staff and instructors an excellent weekend. |

We organised an
activity day at Blackwell Court for all the Guides in Droitwich
Division as part of our Centenary celebrations. We had a fantastic
day (were so lucky with the weather) and the girls all had a great
time. Each girl took part in four different activities, including
abseiling, crate stacking, giants ladder - lots of high up scary
stuff! The instructors were super - very calm and patient with the
more nervous girls. The girls from my unit have already asked if we
can go and camp for a weekend, so we are looking at our diaries. |

very helpful and instructors build rapport with young people very
easily. Safety precautions 1st class. Great site, well worth a
visit! |

We had the opportunity
to stay @ the Brook tented Village, For a week during August. we
must say that the Blackwell Staff by far provided the best and
friendliest service we have come across, professional and always
willing to go the extra mile, Paul and his staff are top class, the
facilities are second to none, the tented village was magnificent,
Many Many Tnx to Paul, Denise and all the Gang |

What a great site!
everything you need there on arrival no messing putting up tents in
the dark or rain but best of all, no taking down, just clean & go,
Brill. The staff are fab and so are all the facilities. Best camp in
my 30+ years of camping thank you. We will definitely be coming back |

We used the Brooks tent
village over the August bank holiday weekend for a group of 30+
cubs, scouts, explorers and leaders. The tented village was well
situated, a whole lot easier than packing and setting up own tents !
The sleeping tents where great, the kitchen tent adequate for
cooking for 30 and the main group tent was massive, a very useful
facility. |

We had a fantastic time
at Blackwell Adventure. The site was brilliant and the area was well
maintained and cleaned. The site had every thing we need and the
staff were very helpful and friendly. The scouts really enjoyed the
activities available and they were well run and well supervised. we
would recommend Blackwell Adventure to any other troop and hope they
had as good a time as we did. |

Blackwell Adventure has easy access from
the M42/M5 motorway. I take my Cubs there twice a year indoors during Spring in the Stable Block and outdoors in the summer. The Cubs love the crate stacking, it is always a challenge to see who can climb the highest. The activities are well run by experienced instructors. I would recommend Blackwell to any youth group. |

Girlguiding Birmingham
held its County Centenary Camp at Blackwell over the Spring Bank
Holiday weekend - we had almost 500 camped for 5 days and on Bank
Holiday Monday we were joined by another 600 for our 'Party in the
Park' celebration. From start to finish the Blackwell staff were
amazing, nothing was too much trouble, every request, no matter how
small or trivial, was dealt with quickly and professionally !
Special thank you to Sean, who was awesome !! |

This was our second Group Family Camp of about 100 people. We booked for 2010 before we left. We have used other sites but Blackwell beats the rest hands down. Paul (manager) and his crew could not be more friendly or helpful. The site is in excellent order and each year more activities are added. They really do listen to any comments you make. I made a chance remark to Paul late on Saturday evening about maybe thinking of installing a paper towel dispenser in one of the smaller ladies toilet and then promptly forgot about it. By 10am Sunday morning there was one fitted, with an apology for it not being brand new!!! |

We had a superb week
with Blackwell. We actually camped on the second site called 'Pikes
Pool' which is about a 10 minute walk from the first site, though
slightly less developed and much closer to the Green field style
camping my scouts love (without digging toilets) It has a brand new
toilet block, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. |

We have camped as a
Group for the last five years at various scout sites throughout the
North of England and none can compare with Blackwell, it is an
excellent site, facilities are very good and the staff are
excellent. It is the small extra things that the staff do without
being asked that make it so special. The range of activities is
brilliant and cubs and scouts could do separate activities without
any overlap and our Cubs could therefore see what more exciting
activities would be available to them as Scouts. |

Despite it being a wet week for us we had a fab time. We used the

helpful, professional and have a good rapport with the children. The
activities are fun, challenging and well organised. |

Blackwell Court is just
round the corner from Birmingham and very close to motorway networks
for people travelling from far a field. It is a beautiful 50 acre
site with greenery all around it and a lovely view of Cotswold. |
