Description of Site:

The Campsite and its associated Activity Centre are located in the picturesque Wharfe valley, overlooking the town of Ilkley, with superb views of the world famous ‘ILKLA MOOR’.

The site occupies approximately 4 acres of moor/woodland and contains a modern indoor activity centre containing two four bedded leaders bedrooms along with a recently built bunkhouse annexe containing 32 beds in four bedrooms (bunk beds) & a separate bedroom for a disabled youngster and his/her carer. In addition to indoor and outdoor washing facilities with hot & cold showers, there is also a fully DDA compliant wash room.

It is a DIY Camp-site with trees to climb, swing from or build runways, bracken to build the odd ‘bivvy’ to hide in. See our pheasants, rabbits and varied wildlife throughout the season.
Altar fires are on each site for wood fires, with ‘real’ wood available supplemented by pallets. The sites cater for a patrol or a troop.
