We returned to Bowley for our annual group camp this year.
The site has really developed since our last visit. Zip wire, pamper pole, low ropes course to name just a few of the new activities.
Booking was not always easy as the office is not manned during the day but e-mails were always answered by the campsite.
Little Bowley was very good with clean camping area, toilet and clean kitchen.
The campsite toilets do need renovating but as I understand the volunteers are well on with this.
A good stay and we will return.

1/7/11 Well I don't really know where to start with this one.. The booking process does not work. We booked a pitch and were told to move a few days before camp. We booked activities and they were moved and some were double booked.   You can't get onto site to set up your camping area before 5pm. before 5 the commercial activity team (hill climb) seem to control it and only hand the Scout camp back to the Scouts after 5pm.   Toilets are a disgrace. cubical doors do not shut so you can see whoever is using them! They are very DIRTY.   Pond was double booked and the children were asked to take their rafts apart half way through making them.   Duty Warden was good although he had just been thrown in (it was his first weekend) and no support.   WE WILL NOT CAMP HERE AGAIN.

We stayed at Bowley for one night during a walking expedition. Site has very friendly warden. Pitch was fin but toilets very dirty. Great value for money tho!
