The site, which is open from beginning of May until the end of September, has a peaceful woodland setting. There are four camping areas of varying size, and ample facilities with which to practice traditional Scoutcraft. The site has mains water and modern toilet/shower facilities and cooking on open altar fires is permitted. With the facilities of Culzean Castle and Country Park (NTS) and sandy beaches within easy walking distance available. Firewood is normally available.
 

Pioneering
Obstacle Course

The NTS Ranger Service in the Country Park can be pre-bookied, for guided nature walks, etc (A donation for the service is expected). A guided tour of the Castle can be arranged - please contact our booking secretary well in advance for mare details. Off-site; sea angling, trout fishing, golf, pony treking and Ayrshire Coastal Path are available within a short distance (see website or brochure).
