Description of Site:

Paccar Scout Camp is 60 acres set in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside, close to historic Chalfont St. Peter, yet only 30 minutes from London.

Extensive woodlands sites and two large fields for camping, indoor accommodation, a wide range of activities and more make it a great place to camp and use as a base to visit local attractions.

Chessington World of Adventures and Legoland are close and a short journey to central London takes you to the London Eye, Madame Tussauds and all the famous attractions in one of the world's greatest cities. There is a resident Site Manager (Steve Allard) and Senior Activity Instructor (Jamie Brunt) assisted by a large number of volunteers.

Aug 2011 Staff were. Excellent, very helpful, and willing to join in with us on activities. The gap staff were great and joined us on our days out. The centre manager and his assistant  couldn't  do enough for us My unit will be returning and we would recommend this site to any section. We will be returning for their February Freezer camp.

Paccar staff are more than friendly and helpful, the only downside for us was at the time we visited there was not many scouts and the schools that were there were aloof, We will return someday and wish David Gibson Warden a great retirement and Graham, his wife, frank and staff all the best We also had a visit in Ireland of one of the staff, Kyle from New Zealand a true scout and gentleman
