Appointment of Trainee Warden at Great Tower Scout Activity Centre (Young Apprentice Scheme)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated individual to take on the above post at one of Britain’s best loved Scout Activity Centres in the glorious Lake District National Park commencing on 1st August 2008 for 3 years

The prime objectives of the post are to help the Warden to ensure the facilities and site are safe and ready for use when required.

The post is based at Great Tower, weekend working is an essential part of the post and a flexible attitude to working averaging 45 hours per week will be required.

Previous Scouting/Guiding experience and a current driving license are required and activity and First Aid qualifications would be an advantage.

To fit with the Young Apprenticeship scheme, the successful applicant would ideally be over 17 and a half but under 20 years old on the 1st August 2008
